Hello, forum community. I’ve been here since the schedule was published, and wow, the 2026 World Cup in Dallas is going to be incredible. Who can forget the 1994 World Cup when the US let the whole nation join in the Cup celebrations? Just look at the AT&T tailgates. Picture all that Texas hospitality: samba tailgates, and smoked brisket. Remember; though, the parking passes are going to be gone soon. There are about 12,000 parking spots at $75 for group matches, and almost half the spots are gone already. Buy through the stadium website. Otherwise, you’ll be waiting forever in game day traffic.

BBQ spots in the stadium lots are always high quality, and these recommendations are based on my experience going to Cowboys games. You’ll find the same tailgate party atmosphere:

  • Gate 6 Tex-Mex Twist: Not pure BBQ, but loaded nachos that’ll fuel you through extra time.

Check this shot from a recent tailgate, smells like victory through the screen:

I’m looking forward to the US leg, beats those packed European stands any day. Who’s up for a pre-game grill before Mexico plays? What’s your favorite food?
